"We also have crews dropping food at four access places. They'll bring in dehydrated meals heavy on the protein and carbs. We'll cook them quickly on the trail."The entire trail rarely falls below 8,000 feet and it includes seven mountain passes, the highest being Forester Pass at 13,153 feet. As he tells it, he didn't start out running baby steps no 5Ks or half marathons. He wasn't a runner growing up no cross country or track in high school.He didn't own a pair of running shoes."The year I graduated high school, I had some friends training for the Bridger Ridge Run," Wolfe said. "That summer for fun, they invited me to go on a couple of training runs with them. I borrowed an old pair of Nike running shoes from a friend."Wolfe began competing seriously in long distance races in 2006 when he ran and won in his second 50 mile race at White River, Wash.
