Senator Wendy Davis is a fucking badass. There's this bill that they are trying to pass in Texas that would make it illegal to get any abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy, and would make it very difficult for abortion centers to continue doing what they do. Governor Rick Perry has already said that if the bill makes it to his desk, he will sign it. And Wendy Davis said fuck no that is not happening. So she's filibustering it. That means she asked to talk on the subject at 11:18 this morning, and if she can continue talking about abortion until 11:59 tonight, the bill won't reach Governor Perry, and they would have to start all over with the bill next time they meet 2 years from now. But Wendy has to keep talking. She can't pause for even a minute, not for food or a sip of water or to go to the bathroom or sit down. She can't even lean up against anything, or she's out. So she's wearing motherfucking PINK NIKE TENNIS SHOES in the middle of the state senate. She also has to continue talking about the topic. She sent out tweets an other messages last night asking for anyone and everyone's abortion story, and received a shit load of answers. Her staff is still collecting them, and she's reading them aloud to the senate. Not only is she making this bill impossible to pass, she may just change some minds while she's at it. Nike Roshe Run Woven Men Royal White,The Paranormal: Fact or Faked?Anything having to do with the paranormal seems to be all the rage today. TV shows like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures get relatively high ratings. Movies like the ever popular Paranormal Activity series are regular hits at the all important box office. Both amateur and "professional" ghost hunters are popping up all over the country. What used to be regarded as outside the norm, even kooky, is now being regarded as more and more mainstream, even dare I say it! normal. Of course, there are still the naysayers who maintain that ghosts aren't real and that all the "evidence" of ghosts and/or the supernatural are "faked" in some way. Granted, there have been instances of paranormal "evidence" being "faked" and whatnot. However, I myself believe there is enough strong "evidence" to support the existence of the so called paranormal as I myself have had, shall we say, experiences with the paranormal of which I will, of course, discuss further. There again, I have little doubt that there will be those naysayers who will say that I'm putting on airs and, even worse, that I'm out of my ever loving mind. But, there again, these naysayers have never been in my shoes nor have their "witnessed" what I have, now have they? But I can't really be too harsh on said naysayers since I was once one myself until I started having my own "experiences" with the paranormal; again, as I'll go into more detail about. My Own Experiences With The ParanormalI actually grew up in a "haunted" house. My dad used to always tell stories of how the house was indeed haunted and, quite frankly, I always thought they were bunk seeing as how my dad was always joking and all. However, the first inkling that I got that the stories may indeed be true was when a couple of friends of mine in high school who I'll call Don and Bob came over to the house one day. Don said he wanted to look around upstairs. He was especially interested in a room he called the "relic room" that was filled with all kinds of old stuff (a picker would've had a field day in that room!). Anyway, we all three went up and rummaged around in that room for a little while before coming back downstairs. We were all sitting and talking in my room when all of a sudden Don stopped talking as he slowly turned his head and looked over his shoulder. His lower lip was trembling and his eyes were as wide as saucers. He jumped out of seat and said, "Man, there's somebody breathing back there!" Bob and I looked at Don like he was crazy, but he looked so serious that we both went back to where he had been looking and, of course, we didn't find anything. I didn't really think anything of it until my mom told me years later about my dad saying how he once saw a "spirit" in that particular room. According to what my mom told me, my dad was lying in bed in that room one night when he heard footsteps walking down the hallway. He at first thought it was his brother whom he was sharing the room with. He heard the bedroom door open, still thinking it was his brother (who later died in a car accident a couple of days after I was born), and then he felt someone sitting down next to him on the bed. He looked up and saw the figure of a woman he couldn't make out her face in the darkened room with her hair done up in a bun and looking all prim proper the way women used to look back in the olden days. She reached out for him and, getting scared (which he wasn't known to do, by the way), he quickly jumped up out of bed and turned on the light. Of course, there was nobody, not his brother and certainly not a strange woman, sitting on the edge of the bed. The house actually burned down years ago. My sister and her then husband had moved in with their daughter. One night a few weeks before Christmas there was a really bad storm. Apparently lightning struck the top of the house and caused a fire upstairs. However, what I found rather interesting was that my sister said she never smelled smoke wafting downstairs. It wasn't until someone who was driving by and saw the top half of the house on fire ran up to the front door and started pounding on the door and telling them they need to get out because the house was on fire before they even realized the house was indeed on fire. They all managed to get out, and, after my sister ran back in to retrieve their pet dog, the upstairs caved in the second she ran back out of the house. And, according to my sister, the very first upstairs room to cave in was the room that my friend Don had called the "relic room" and where my dad claimed to had seen the woman's spirit. Another thing I thought was rather unusual about my sister's story was that it was pouring down rain but the fire continued to rage, making the scene look like something out of a horror movie, as my sister herself put it. What was all the more unusual, at least for me, was earlier that day my dad was asked by one of his friends in the house's backyard if he would ever consider moving back into the house and he said he had no intention whatsoever of moving back into the house. Coincidence? After my mom told me the story about dad seeing the spirit in his bedroom, my dad told me how he contacted a Ouija board and asked if there was indeed a spirit inside the house. The board informed him that indeed there was. Again, from what he gathered from the Ouija board, a woman gave birth up in that room where he claimed to have seen that female "spirit" and died while giving birth. One of the scariest stories involving my old house.( all about Shadow People.)One of the scariest stories I was ever told about my old house was from my mother. She told me that, after she married my dad, they moved into the house where a number of dad's family was also living with them. My mom told me that she was upstairs one day with my aunt going through some boxes looking for stuff. Mom told me at one point she happened to glance up and noticed a large white owl perched atop the door that led to the upstairs. She told me that this was no ordinary owl, that it was about twice as large as a normal owl and that its talons were about as big as a human's hands. She said that it was looking straight at her while completely ignoring my aunt who was right next to her. She added how it was looking at her with what my mom described as, and I quote, pure hatred in its eyes. Mom then looked over at my aunt and pointed out the owl to her. My aunt stopped rummaging through the box she was looking in and peered up. She at first dismissed the owl and went back to looking through the box for a bit, then she gazed back up at the owl, let out a shout and bolted out the door, slamming the door behind her and leaving mom behind to deal with this "angry" owl. Mom told me my aunt had slammed the door so hard that it got stuck. Mom told me how she was yelling and screaming while trying to get the door open as the owl swooped down on her. She said she could feel its claws in her hair as she kept frantically trying to get the door open. She finally managed to get the door open and ran out of there as fast as she could. What was really scary about this story, besides the obvious, was that mom told me no one had ever seen nor heard the owl after that incident. In fact, that was the only time anyone had ever seen the owl at all. Now you'd figure that someone within the house would no doubt hear an owl or any bird of THAT size flapping around upstairs, wouldn't you? Ironically, I never really had any "paranormal" experiences myself in that house until shortly before I moved out. That's when I began hearing strange noises and such within the house (scratching on the walls, loud noises upstairs even during the day, etc.). I'm not sure if the "spirit" in the house was "upset" that I was moving out or if "she" was telling me that it was time to move on. Either way, I actually experienced more paranormal activity (no pun intended!) after I had moved out of that house. For instance, I was visiting my dad's place and one morning I woke up and someone or rather something was standing by the bed staring down at me. The figure had this grayish hue and stood perfectly still. However, I had my glasses off and I was half asleep, so I just figured it was dad and closed my eyes. When I opened my eyes again, the figure was still standing by the bed and staring down at me. I did this a couple more times before the figure was gone. At the time, I didn't really think anything of it and just figured it was dad who was the figure standing next to the bed staring down at me. However, when I asked dad later on if he had been in the house that morning, he told me he was gone. I learned later of the "existence" of what's known in the paranormal world as shadow people, which are, from my understanding of them, these ghost like supernatural entities. Of course, the skeptics would insist that what I saw was the result of the fact that I didn't have my glasses on and therefore everything was blurry. However, the figure that I saw was close enough to me that I could've reached out and touched it, so there you go.

Nike Roshe Run Woven Men Royal White Although a breakup with a boyfriend or girlfriend can leave you feeling incredibly depressed, I'm here to bring you some good news. A breakup actually doesn't mean that the relationship is over by any means. If the breakup has left you cold and confused, I'm willing to bet you would love to get your ex back again. Before you do this there are a few things you need to know first. If you learn exactly how to act after a breakup and you become aware of how to to place the relationship under any more pressure, you have taken one giant step towards getting your ex back already. Sometimes it can seem impossible to even crack a smile, but relationship experts unanimously agree that keeping a positive attitude following a breakup can work wonders. It's also true that a positive person is just generally much more attractive than a negative person. Here are some ways to keep that confident attitude you need. 1) Keep Your Confidence Like I just said, positive confidence is an incredibly attractive trait in a person. Instead of walking around feeling gloomy, try to indulge yourself in the things that keep you occupied and happy. Anything to keep the depression at bay. Make it clear to your ex boyfriend or girlfriend that you are more than capable of handling this breakup. You can easily survive without them. 2) Don't Become A Hermit If you're sure about getting your ex back, make sure that all the people around you are on the same page and are just as positive about it as yourself. Be the best friend you can be to your friends and even better, mutual friends of you and your ex. If so many people love you and appreciate you for who you are you can be sure it will reach your ex. He or she will realize that it's madness to let you go. This is by far one of the best ways to make your ex think differently about you again. 3) Always Look Good Something to keep in mind is not to let your external appearance reflect your internal heartache, especially in front of your ex. I would actually recommend taking this time to pay special attention to your whole image, including clothes, shoes and hair. A breakup can be really crippling but do not give into that! If you are looking good and healthy this lets your ex know that you are doing great and still living your life. It makes it clear that you will be getting back together like adults who are responsible for themselves.
