The students carried banners branding Obama as an enemy of Islam and an imperialist in downtown Jakarta as well as in the provincial capitals Padang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya. According to the article, they threw shoes at banners of Obama, just like someone did in person to Bush. It a sign of total disrespect. There are pictures of students throwing shoes at the banners and of one defacing a mask of Obama. Interestingly, this article also mentions that the local government allowed businesses to erect a statue of Obama as a 10 year old to put in a park last December. But when more than 50,000 people protested via Facebook and a court action was threatened, the statue was moved to the elementary school that Obama attended there. The article claims that demonstrations of hostility toward Obama are rare in Indonesia then goes on to say that bigger rallies are scheduled for next Friday in even more cities, ahead of Obama visit planned for March 20 22. Air Jordan 7 Cardinals 2011,No, I'm not talk'n about the weather, Thank goodness! It's July and comfortable so there is no complaining here! I'm talking about the fishing right now. Bobby C and I was talk'n last week and were unsure what this cooler weather moving in would do to the fish. Seeing how the fishing had been so good up to the cooler temps moving in, we were worried it may cause the fish to turn off a little. Not the case! The cat fishing is as hot as it's been all summer! The only thing I'm doing different if fishing in some of my early summer spots. It's just as hot, if not hotter, than I thought it would be. Another 120 qt cooler full! Remember to be safe on the water. There seems to be an unusually high number of drownings this year. Be safe, have fun, and watch out what's going on around ya. Remember to take someone new with you outdoors next time you head out. This week he have some friends for Alabama coming over to get in on some jug'n action. If the fishing will just stay hot until after this weekend it'll be one of the best summers of fishing we've had in a while. Well another season has come and gone. We had an okay season and it was hit or miss most trips. Between boxes missing and empty boxes it was frustrating at times to say the least, but we'll do it all again next year. We did end things with a bang! Our last fish of the season was a nice 55 lb tabby cat. Biggest one of the year and my personal best. So far. LOL Sydney Coke and Dallas joined me on this trip. Ever wondered what it looks like to be eat'n by a catfish? This is what bite my hand, but in the end I'll have the last bite. We finished the day of handgrab'n with another jug'n trip. We caught fish consecutively but not quiet as hot as in weeks bast. We filled up a 120 qt cooler on this trip but it took about 3 1/2 hours this time. Paul Irby and BoBo Phillipson, both from Morton, joined in on this trip. I think this was the most pounds Paul has ever caught while jug'n and I know this was Bobo's personal best. I think he said his biggest catfish was 6 lbs and we broke that record several times on this trip. A good time was had by all and we'll be hitting the water again soon. Paul on the left and BoBo on the right. Look at the fish on the end. See the other catfish in it's mouth? To my fellow jugger's: PLEASE TAKE ONLY ENOUGH JUGS TO RUN! I'm seeing more and more abandon jugs floating around the rez. We normally only fish with 12 to 20 jugs. There is no need to lay out 50 jugs in big open water. If you can't catch them on 10 to 20 you can't catch them on 50. Also be sure not to leave your jugs alone on the water. I've seen several sets of jugs with no one around watching them. The law states that during day light hours you must accompany your jugs. So I say all that to say this, TAKE HOME THE NUMBER OF JUGS YOU TAKE OUT! Remember to take someone new out with you next time you hit the water. You'll be amazed the friends you'll make even better friends by doing this. Big Fish Fry Coming SOON!! Finally got some pictures from one of our trips last week. Here's the big trip last week. Here are half the fish we caught. The blue cooler in the back ground is full of fish also. They divided the fish between the two coolers so they could get some ice on the fish and close the coolers. We'll hit the water again this week. It's sure to settle down soon but I hope we can get a few more days of good Jug'n in. If you see me in my 17ft green grizzly on the water be sure to come up and say hey! Good luck to all those out there fight'n the heat and still get'n after the fish! If you didn't fish last week, especially for catfish, then you missed it. It was one of the best fishing weeks I've seen in a while. We normally fill up a 50 qt cooler in about 2 hours, but last week we filled up a 150 quart cooler in under 2 hours. 4 fish were 20 plus lbs. Everyone I spoke with that was fishing on the water reported the same type results. The catfish was Hot, Hot, Hot. Not just any size, but I'm talk'n quality with size. I'm waiting for my buddy to send the pictures from last week but to fill a 150 quart cooler in under 2 hours, UNREAL!!

Air Jordan 7 Cardinals 2011 Surviving the Knob's First Week Knobs report to The Citadel one week before classes begin. Some call this first week Hell Week because it's physically and mentally demanding. They receive their uniforms and rifles, have their hair shorn, report to their barracks and attend academic orientation and military training. During this time, upperclass cadets instruct knobs in the basics of military training and discipline. The knobs will undergo intense physical exercises, dropping to the floor for push ups, sit ups and crunches or scrambling to their feet to run. Knobs also learn how to shine shoes, polish brass, make a bed, keep their rooms in order and sweep the barracks, form for assembly, march, drill, salute and learn rifle manual basics. Got that? In addition, knobs learn to walk at a pace of 120 steps per minute and maintain good posture (rigid back). If you're a sassy youngster, The Citadel may not be the place for you. Knobs must carry out all orders from cadets without question. When addressed by an upperclass cadet, a knob can respond in only these ways:Whenever asked (usually at meals), knobs must answer questions about the institution. These questions cover just about any topic related to The Citadel. If a knob doesn't know the answer, he or she is asked to find it and report back at the next mess. At meals (called mess), knobs must sit upright on the first 3 inches (8 centimeters) of their chairs. They serve the upperclass cadets in their mess (mess carver). Hands aren't allowed to rest on the table, and proper etiquette is strictly enforced. One Citadel mess tradition called "stumping the stars" refers to answering and asking questions during the knobs' mess. Another no longer allowed tradition or prank involved ordering a knob to sneak under the table and pour condiments on an upperclass cadet's shoes without getting caught. Another tradition comes at Thanksgiving dinner when the knobs make Thanksgiving hats of all sizes and decoration for their upperclass mentors to wear during the meal. Knobs are very busy during that first week. What they learn and do during those days will continue throughout the knob year and become the foundation for the training they will receive throughout their time at The Citadel. Until 2008, knobs weren't allowed to have telephones, either in their rooms or cell phones. That has changed because of the campus shootings at Virginia Tech. Today, all cadets may carry cell phones. Knob aren't permitted to use their phones during the first week of military training and orientation, but they can text or e mail family or friends. What Should I Bring with Me? Not much. Here are a few sample items: 12 white, cotton, crew neck T shirts12 pairs of black, calf length socks12 white handkerchiefsOne pair of military style bootsIf you're thinking about setting up a shrine to your dearly missed girlfriend or boyfriend, forget it. You're allowed to bring one picture with a frame no larger than 8 by 10 inches (20 by 25 centimeters). Oh yeah, and ladies, suede handbags are strictly prohibited. [source: The Citadel].
