KENT, Wash. Prosecutors have charged the man accused of fatally stabbing a woman in her apartment last month. , 40, has been charged with first degree murder in the death of 45 year old Bonnie Peterson, who was found dead in her apartment on Dec. 21. Detectives believe the two had a romantic relationship prior to the attack. That incident began when an officer tried to pull over Gulseth, who was driving down Seattle's First Avenue. Investigators said ditched the stolen car with heroin hidden inside, and hid in the bathroom in a nearby restaurant. Employees led police to the man, who was handcuffed and put into the backseat of a patrol car. But police said Gulseth was able to wriggle his arms free, break out the security partition and climb into the front seat, all while still handcuffed. He then stole the cruiser, hurting one officer in the process, police said. Investigators said Gulseth sped across the West Seattle Bridge, down Harbor Avenue in West Seattle, and ran over trees before crashing the patrol car and nearly running over an officer. But Gulseth didn't stop there, according to police. He ran up the hill into a neighborhood, and after an intense 90 minute search, he was captured. Gulseth was later convicted on robbery, car theft, eluding and drug charges. Gulseth also has several prior arrests for theft and drug violations. Gulseth is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He has brown hair that he usually wears in a pony tail and has tattoos from his neck to his arms. Police consider Gulseth to be very dangerous, and are asking the public to not make contact with him. Anyone with information on Gulseth's whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately. This is true now but it was not always like that! I was bitten by a dog for no reason when I was about five and was scared of them for a couple of years but that's another story. For now let's concentrate on the cat's part in my life especially this funny cute cat that played a purposeful game with me to tame me. Yes, that's right! I wasn't fond of cats. The whole story started when I was still at university and lived in a student hostel. Three people shared a room in that hostel if you were lucky there were only two of you sharing. There was some room renovation going on during that summer in the hostel, so they moved me into another room to the first floor. The "resident" of that room wasn't happy about this as she enjoyed being alone during the summer holidays and was distant and a little bit unpleasant towards me at the beginning. Anyway, we started talking and getting to know each other better. By the end of that mmonth we got on pretty well. September came and I had to move to my new room ( her two roommates coming back of course). It was on the same floor with theirs and she talked about me to her roommates so they came to visit me in my room. That's where our friendship started. The four of us still keep in contact and we have great memories :) Now they were not the usual type of students in a sense. One of them moved hamsters into that tiny room and kept them there. That was all fine and nobody protested ( you are not allowed to have pets in a student hostel here). But then one day my friend I met during the summer decided to also bring in a pet: a cat. Now that was more tricky to go unnoticed of course. I wasn't "in good terms with cats" at that time so whenever I went into their room I avoided any contact with the cat or the hamsters. I kept my friendship to the human occupants only. Until one day when I popped in and none of them were in the room just the pets. I decided to move to the other side of the room where the desks were with chairs to make sure the cat doesn't get near me all the while wondering why none of my friends turned up yet. The cat was persistent she wanted to get into my lap but I told her to go off again. Now she changed tactic she sat down on the other chair. By this time I thought to myself that I can let her stay there she's a being as well, no harm done by her staying near me. I applauded myself silently and started reading a book eagerly waiting for my friend to come in. What was so important for me to discuss with her? Who knows. Anyways I heard a noise and turned towards the door hoping that finally one of them is entering but alas no instead I had the cat sitting in my lap and looking straight up into my eyes! And this was the end of my resistance. Something switched in me at that moment and I started petting the cat. Now guess what? Yes, that's right at that point my friend entered the room and her jaw dropped. She couldn't believe her eyes! I related the story of her cat taming me to her and she was amazed as well. Would you have thought a cat can move with so much focus and purpose? Would you have thought a cat sets out to change a person? However strange that may seem this is what happened. Since then I have heard great stories of how cats even save their owners lives. They are wise beyond belief! Cats just love to be playful and move around. And they need toys as well especially this cat that was alone in the room for half a day every day.
