I loved playing safety, had a great time, but my NFL aspirations for safety weren't really that high. I was just kind of focused on school and doing my best in college at that position, but as soon as the punting thing came in, it just kind of switched my whole mindset towards the NFL and my chances of going. Still, the transition wasn't easy. "I definitely missed playing safety this last year," he said. "It was hard. He works out at a gym two or three times a day, for approximately six hours: weightlifting, pool workouts, footwork and agility training, football specific drills. In front of NFL scouts at the University of Utah's pro day, Morales ran a 4.6 40 yard dash, a 4.0 shuttle run, did 34 reps bench lifting 225 pounds and had a 10 foot broadjump. "I had a really good day, actually," Morales said. "After the combine, I talked to six or seven teams right there, different scouts who pretty much didn't even know who I was until that day, so it was good for me to get out there."
