Divide your guests into teams of three to five people. Give each team a "kit" that contains an odd assortment of props. Ideas for props include hats, badges, glasses, sports equipment, musical instruments and party decorations. Have each team move to a separate area of the home or yard and prepare a brief skit, commercial or song using as many items in their kit as possible. Allow the teams about 30 minutes to prepare their presentations. Then have everyone come back together as a group and have each team perform for the other guests. This is a funny game that tests the concentration of your guests. Give each guest a plastic bead bracelet or necklace upon arrival (these are very inexpensive and can be found at many dollar stores and online at party supply websites). Post a brief series of words (two to four) in a visible location. Point out to the guests that if someone hears them saying any of these words, they must give their bracelet or necklace to that person. Examples of words include "happy," "birthday" and "party." The person with the most bracelets or necklaces at the end of the slumber party wins. This game is a good icebreaker to start your slumber party. Have all of your guests take off one shoe and place it in the center of the room in a pile. Tell the guests to go find someone else's shoe when you say "go." The guests must then find the person to whom the shoe belongs. Once they find the owner of the shoe, they must find out three facts about that person. Instruct your partygoers to try to think of facts that other people may not know about them. Allow five to 10 minutes for everyone to perform this activity. Then come back together as a group and have each person share at least one fact learned about another..

To build fitness, experts say, swim, cycle, do gymwork or circuit work instead. In other words, cross train. It's particularly relevant to runners, said Daniel Green, an exercise physiologist at the Australian Institute of Sport. ''The physical load of running is much higher than nearly all other sports,'' Dr Green said. ''It's one of the most physically taxing pursuits on your body in terms of wear and tear and in terms of injury risk. A lot of runners are forced to cross train because they're incapable of handling the load.'' Elliptical trainers at the gym offered the nearest experience to running, said Dr Green and without any of the injury causing impact. After that came the two usual cross training favourites, cycling and swimming. ''Cycling is more specific to running than swimming because it predominantly uses your leg muscles so you are getting adaptations within the muscle cells of your legs that will transfer across to running,'' he said. ''Swimming is more upper body dominated, so you're not getting that adaptation.'' And it's a welcome change of routine for many. ''The saying 'variety is the spice of life' is absolutely true if you run around the same course every day the motivation begins to drain,'' he said. ''If you're stimulating yourself with new environments and new activities you can certainly get more pleasure from training.'' Air Jordan 3 Bright Crimson,I'm going to give Rick Smith and the Texans some unsolicited advice on how to build this franchise into a winning organization, and I'm going to start with the moves that I would make to personnel this year. Let me start off by giving you my own personal ideaology as it pertains to winning in pro football. My philosophy has been developed over the last seven years after speaking with scouts, coaches and personnel men from a variety of winning organizations over that seven year span. I see things differently than I once did, and I want to pass that vision along to you. You may not agree with it, but at least I'm not going to be wishy washy about it. To me, if you aren't building for a championship, then you are wasting your time. The very first thing you have to do is decide what it takes to win a championship what is the winning formula? The best way to determine that is to look at teams who you want to emulate and then find ways to put together a team in a similar fashion. Don't try and re invent that championship caliber wheel. You don't get bonus points for creativity, just find a way to get it done. Why do you think the NFL is called a "copy cat league"? Lance Zierlein's Championship Blueprint (not that you asked) A. You must always work to establish a strong defensive front (front 7). When you can play well against the run and rush the passer, you can win consistently during the regular season and you can win at a high level in the playoffs. B. Make "football character" the quality you prioritize, not measurables. "Football character" is determined by how hard guys work in the weight room, their leadership, their level of competitiveness in practice and in games and the level at which they love football. There have been great athletes who could coast on their talent alone, but they simply didn't love football enough to play up to their potential. There have been players with limited physical talent who just lived and breathed football who were able to become All Pro players thanks to their work ethic and will to win. The Texans need to make sure they are finding guys with high football character in rounds 1 3. I'm all for great measurables, but the measurables need to be put in proper perspective. C. Always be on the lookout for "home run" hitters on offense and special teams. Andre Johnson and Arian Foster are terrific football players and Owen Daniels is as well when he's healthy, but the Texans should be looking for guys who terrify the opposition with quick strike TD potential in every draft. I'm not talking about just putting a guy like that on the board. I'm talking about targeting those players. The Saints and Colts are always open to adding more weapons to the mix. The Eagles have a ton of weapons on offense, and the Steelers added speed on top of speed at WR via the draft last year. Being able to score from any spot on the field at any time is essential and makes football much less difficult since you don't have to have long, extended drives all the time. D. Open up the draft board. Sources inside the Texans' building have told me over the years about players who had been taken off their draft boards. Many of the players had severe character issues, and I completely understood why Bob McNair wouldn't want them as potential Texans. However, there have also been a far greater number of immature players or players with a little "edge" who were taken off the Texans' board when they weren't taken off of the boards of other successful organizations. Football is a violent, competitive game and many of the players who play it aren't boy scouts. That's okay. While I believe you should stay away from "bad guys," it is okay to take chances on players who push the envelope a little bit on and off the field as long as it doesn't become a problem. Because football doesn't offer guaranteed contracts, you can always cut bait with players who become character concerns so take advantage of that, Texans. 1. Get Faster! It's time for the Texans to get serious about getting speed off the edge. They've added some athletic players in Mario Williams, Connor Barwin and Antonio Smith on the outside over the years, but I'm talking about a guy with outstanding quickness off the snap from the outside linebacker position who has the speed to beat a tackle around the corner and the athleticism to be able to bend and dip and shear off that edge. That type of quickness and speed leads to offensive linemen "over setting" which means they become vulnerable to inside moves. No matter who the secondary is, you can't cover forever if QBs have too much time to throw. If you have to use blitzes all the time to get pressure, your defense will be inconsistent. If the Texans can get after the QB with speed, then the secondary won't have to cover along and the pass defense will improve dramatically because of it. To me, Robert Quinn should be the clear choice if he were to fall to 11, but don't be shocked to see Aldon Smith in the mix as well as he also fits with the "UNDER" look that Wade Phillips will use that will basically turn the WOLB into a 4 3 defensive end. The Texans will also have an opportunity to get some speed at OLB in the second, but I wouldn't recommend waiting beyond that. 2. Move Glover Quin to safety The day after Quin was drafted, I advocated moving him to the strong safety position because of his combination of cover skills, toughness and tackling ability. More and more teams want their safeties to be interchangeable, and Quin can be that kind of player. The Texans have to think big. If they want to be the best, they have to beat the best and that includes teams like the Steelers, Colts and Patriots who can throw the ball so you need safeties who can limit big plays when they are playing over the top and cover man to man against not just tight ends, but slot wide receivers as well. Quin instincts could end up saving as much as 3 points per game on defense. 3. Get a veteran CB Everyone says that the CB position is one of the toughest spots to come in and play well at as a rookie. So why are so many people clamoring for Prince Amukamara who will also have rookie struggles this year? If I were GM, I would have a good idea about a veteran CB to target. And yes, I would strongly consider overpaying for Nnamdi Asomugha. I'm not a huge fan of firing off huge payments for free agents, but at least I would know I have one of the top CBs in the league. Short of adding Asomugha at a ridiculously high price, I would definitely add at least one veteran CB who can come in and start right away. A veteran CB is less likely to get beat for big plays and they can also act as a mentor for Kareem Jackson. 4. Draft a cornerback in round 2 or 3 While I would avoid a cornerback in the first round, that position would become a priority in round 2 or 3. This is a very deep CB draft in round 3 and that might be the magic round for the Texans to look. What I would stress here, however, is that the Texans look for a cornerback with above average man cover skills and instincts. I don't care how tall he is, how long his arms are or what his 40 yard dash is, find a guy who is a good football player (you know like a Tramon Williams type). 5. It's time to add a hog in the middle The time has come for the Texans to stop trying to out quick opponents on the interior of their defensive line and start bullying opponents. The Texans need a big body in the middle to handle double teams and help control the middle of the line of scrimmage. They don't have that type of player on their roster and they need to add that player via the draft or free agency. Because a big nose tackle will only play a limited amount of snaps, it isn't necessary to make that position a priority in the first three rounds so I would look at free agency or in round 4 or 5. 6. Add a vertical threat and kick returner Andre Johnson will always get additional attention from defenses and now Arian Foster has the attention of defensive coordinators around the league as well. What the Texans need is a wide receiver who can hit big plays down the field and take advantage of those one on one matchups. If the Texans can find a WR/KR, that would knock out two birds with one stone, but if not, then a kick returner is another position they should look to add in rounds 5, 6 or 7. If we gonna move a corner to safety, why not do it with Kareem Jackson instead? (Or what about Molden?) It so hard to find a corner in this league, that I have a hard time moving a guy who has shown some semblance of competence at the NFL level. I don think draft status or college scouting report is enough to justify it; Quin has shown that he capable of playing CB in this league. And while the night is still young, Kareem didn give us any indication that he capable of doing it. Go through the list of CBs who start in the league for good teams and you notice there are some average players there. Moving Quin shouldn be a move that scares anyone. Teams routinely replace CBs and are able to do it successfully. I agree with you on everything. Quinn has to be our pick at 11, im not so sure about all the Aldon Smith hype because he still developing and doesn have all the skills Quinn utilizes. But if Quinn isn there then He would be the guy, because as you said, the front 7 HAS to be addressed first and foremost (you don need to cover anybody when the QB is sprawled out on the ground). Round 2, we have to snag a corner like aaron williams if he there. Round 4, Best WR or best OLB/ILB to add depth Rounds 5 7, up for grabs for the needs we haven addressed (special team players) ideally safeties, corners, or linebackers Offseason, grab the best FA available and throw money in their face. Bob McNair has one of the highest paying franchises in the nation. He should have a lot of it saved up by now time to go nuts and reach the post season. Z, dude that was pretty much the hammer hitting the nail square. If only our GM spent time thinking like this and not time at the Galleria looking for a new suit, and telling McNair how fabulous his light blue blaizer with red sweater vest is looking, we would get better results. A head coach should not be able to hire his own boss, oh well water under the bridge. Any thoughts on moving Moulden over to safety with Quin, cuz the dude did play pretty good on special teams, the 3/4 year he was healthy, wich could translate to better safety play? Also, would any team be interested in Walters, he did almost sign a FA contract elsewhere last year. Do you think he has 3 or 4th round value? You might find a team looking for a veteran WR who would take him for a late round pick, but veteran possession WRs are not in high demand. As for Molden, if he can stay healthy, he can play on my football team. That is how I would approach it. Nice post. Kubiak did a fine job of turning around the offense after he arrived, but he has been a very poor head coach. Hiring his friends as defensive coaches and giving a number of them promotions hasn exactly worked out. The defense has been consistently pathetic throughout his tenure, which is mind boggling given all the high draft picks the team has invested in the defense, along with signing Antonio Smith in free agency. If the team has another bad year and Kubiak gets fired, I hope Rick Smith gets fired too.

Womens Air Jordan 3 Bright Crimson,Air Jordan 10 Lady Liberty Proper Attire: What do we wear to work out? I know that seams like a silly question for a lot of you. But if you are new to fitness, and if you are, I am so glad that you are here. My goal isn't to turn people into fitness freaks, but to find the right way to turn people onto fitness. This might be your thing. Let's talk about clothing just a little bit. First of all, I am dressed in a basic workout outfit. You can come in your jeans, in your shorts; you really don't have to go anywhere to buy anything. If you have clothes, and I am sure that you do, you can workout on the playground. Don't go out and spend a bunch of money on fitness clothes if you don't have it. However, what I will say to you is this, for some of the stuff that we are going to do it would help to have stretchy clothing on. I've go Capri?s on, these are kind of cool if it is hot in the summer, and these are really nice. Tennis shoes are extremely important, there are cross training shoes and there are running shoes. For the type of activity that we are going to do, I suggest cross trainers, more arched support. We aren't going to be doing a lot of running. A decent pair of socks. As far as your top, something that you can move around in. We will be doing push ups and pulling your body up. Anything that is kind of close fitting, if you are going to be in a position where you are going to be hanging down somewhere. Something that you are comfortable with and you're not going to feel self conscience in, that is what is important. Tennis shoes are probably the most important thing to have as far as your accessories. Other than that if you have a t shirt on, if you have jeans, like I said if you have shorts. If you have shorts, if you want to wear bike shorts. It really doesn't matter; the point here is if you can move around and you are comfortable, and you have some support, you are probably fine. A. Probably what you have in your closet is fine. B. I would suggest cross trainers and then tennis shoes. C. Don't go spend a bunch of money on fitness clothing if you don't have it. Let's just get on the playground and get you started.
